Close-up of a sunset behind some small flowers. Taken near Gundsømagle, Denmark with Venus Optics Laowa 15mm Macro on Nikon Z6II. A difficult lens to use, but it does offer a unique perspective.
Zooming in on a lone sailboat in a colourful sunset near Kalundborg, Denmark. Taken with Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR on Nikon D750.
I was driving in Southern Norway, when I saw this fantastic view of the autumn colours. Taken from the roadside with Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR on Nikon D750
Citadelle de Mane, France at sunrise. The sky was exploding in colour behind me, but there was no interesting composition in that direction, so I took these rather thick clouds over the city. Vertical panorama of 5 images. Taken with Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR on Nikon D750
Wandering the Wadden sea before sunset, I was met with this nice and foggy view. Taken with Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 S on Nikon Z6II
The sun rising over waterfall at Hallamölla, Sweden. Single exposure taken with Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 S on Nikon Z6II

Sunset in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Minca, Colombia. The sun made a nice sky behind me, but the great scenery was in this direction. Taken with Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 S on Nikon Z6II.
A nice, heart shaped sandbar in the sunset at Vester Strand, Denmark. Long exposure taken with Taken with Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 S on Nikon Z6II.

The Munkholm bridge near Holbæk, Denmark at sunset. Not the most spectacular sunset, but I do like the calmness of it. Long exposure taken with with Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Nikon Z6II.

Kalø Vig in Denmark at sunset. Very calm waters, yet I still opted for a long exposure. Captured with Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S on Nikon Z6II.
Colourful sunrise in Trollheimen, Norway. I was very limited in possible compositions due to a swampy area in from of me. Taken with Nikon 50mm f/1.8G.
Long exposure of Kastrup Søbad in Copenhagen, Denmark. A much more crowded area than my usual spots, so the key challenge was getting 150 uninterrupted seconds, as I was standing in the way off everyone else. Taken with Nikon 16-35mm f/4G ED VR on Nikon 750.
Hammershus ruin at sunset. Just after packing down everything, thinking it was over, the sky exploded in colour, and I got busy setting everything up again. Taken with Nikon 16-35mm f/4G ED VR on Nikon Z6II
The Camel heads, Bornholm, Denmark at sunset. Right after almost drowning my camera in a crashing wave, I drew back and took this composition from the angle that does not show the “Camel Heads” in the right profile. The most challenging part, for me, about pictures like this is (except not drowning the camera) to get the exact right exposure length and timing to get the water just right. In order to get both water and sky right, I stacked four images to make this one. Taken with Nikon 16-35mm f/4G ED VR on Nikon Z6II
Long exposure of Munkholmbroen near Holbæk, Denmark. Approaching this beautiful bridge I found it difficult to get the right composition, but I ended up taking off my shoes and wading out into the water. The sun lined up very nicely with the bridge. Stack of a long exposure of the water and shorter exposure of the sun. Taken with NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S on Nikon Z6II

Brúarfoss, Iceland at mid day. This is a very beautiful series of waterfalls, and composition wise it was challenging because of the many great details. In the end I opted for zooming in. Taken with Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR on Nikon D750
Classic composition from behind Kvernufoss, Iceland. HDR of 3 exposures taken with Nikon 16-35mm f/4G ED VR on Nikon D750.

A very still fjord in Norway at sunrise. Taken with Nikon 16-35mm f/4G ED VR on Nikon D750.

Taking a hike in the middle of the day in Torres Del Paine, Chilean Patagonia, I saw the clouds gathering at Los Cuernos. I took this Panorama of 5 images handheld with a Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR on Nikon D7100. The clouds and scenery was very interesting – the colours not so much, so I made this one of my few black & whites.
